Why Leadership Development?
At DAI, we have found that lasting improvements in a community only happen when there is effective leadership.
This is why, since 1996 DAI has focused on leadership development. It is only through skilled leaders that lasting, positive change can be made in the world. Such leaders not only possess the right skills, but they also put the interests of their organization, community and nation above their own. Last year, DAI helped equip over 240,000 Christian leaders in 79 countries through our 40 local offices, most of whom have no access to the type of resources we provide.
This is how we do it:
- Our local offices cultivate wide, relational networks that identify leaders in need of training.
- These leaders attend our master’s degree classes and/or workshops. They may also engage in long-term mentoring relationships with our staff.
- Empowered leaders return home, equipped to transform their churches, businesses, governments, communities and nations.
